Why Tempe (pronounce TEM-pay)?

Originated from Java island in Indonesia, Tempe has been a popular vegetarian & vegan meat replacement. This fermented soybean product is incredibly nutritious, high in protein, vitamins and mineral but low in sodium and carbs.

Unlike tofu, tempe is fermented, which allows easier digestion of its protein and reduces the harmful affect of its phytic acid. It is also a good diary-free source of calcium. One cup (166 gr) of tempe contains about 2/3 of the calcium found in one cup of whole milk.

Who we are?

We are an Australian company based in Perth, WA who produce fresh tempe locally in WA using only the Australia NON-GM soybean. Our mission is to introduce the super food "Tempe" to Australia and the world.
